Privacy Policy

This is the personal portfolio website of Anthony Patrick Saoud ( "I", "me", "my"). I respect your privacy and collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what is collected when you visit this site, why, and the choices you have.

Information I collect

I do not ask you to create an account or fill out any forms on this site, and I do not knowingly collect personal information that identifies you. The only data collected is:

• Usage analytics. If you accept cookies, I collect anonymous information about how the site is used — pages viewed, links and buttons clicked (for example, downloading my resume or opening a contact link), referring website, and the approximate region derived from your IP address.
• Device and technical data. Browser type, device type, screen size, and operating system, used to make sure the site works well across devices.
• Error diagnostics. If something breaks, I capture technical details about the error so I can fix it.
• Server logs. My hosting provider automatically logs requests (including IP addresses) for security and reliability, independent of your cookie choice.

Analytics are configured to be anonymous by default — I do not build identified profiles of visitors, and I do not collect your name, email, or precise location.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This site uses cookies only for the analytics described above, and only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics are collected.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so you aren't asked again. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and reload — the banner will appear again. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.

How I use the information

• To understand which projects and content people find useful.
• To improve the design, performance, and reliability of the site.
• To diagnose and fix technical problems.

I never sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

I rely on a few trusted providers to run this site:

• PostHog — product analytics and error tracking. Analytics requests are routed through this site's own domain. See PostHog's privacy policy.
• Vercel — hosting and content delivery. See Vercel's privacy policy.

Contacting me

If you email me or click a contact link, that opens your own email client or the relevant platform (such as LinkedIn). Any message you choose to send me is handled by that service and by me directly — it is not collected or stored by this website.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you, or to object to its processing. Because the analytics on this site are anonymous, I usually can't link data back to an individual — but if you have a question or request, email me at a.saoud1@outlook.com and I'll do my best to help.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
